Cinnamon myrtle can be used in place of regular cinnamon – although slightly more subtle in flavour and with a herb like flavour. It may be used to add a cinnamon flavour to curries, stews, soups, roasts, ribs and sauces. On desserts it adds a warm, earthy flavour to pies, biscuits, sweets, pastries.
