Native Pepperberry (Tasmannia lanceolata)
Price range: $9.00 through $20.00
The pepperberry (Tasmannia lanceolata) is native to Tasmania. Commonly known as Tasmanian pepperberry, mountain pepper and native pepper.
The berries have a sweet peppery taste that lingers on the taste buds. They have a totally unique, spicy and “bitey” flavour that cannot be replicated by any other spice. The leaves of the native pepper are also used to give a wild, natural and spicy taste to foods. Versatile, nutritious and extremely high in anti-oxidants. They can be used anywhere you’d use traditional black pepper.
Pepperberry is available in whole dried berries, crushed dried berries, and dried ground leaves.
